The Show Must Go On

For movies to continue past May 2025, the following volunteer positions need to be filled:

Committee Chair / Administrator
(~10-12 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Oversees the running of each movie night
  • Interacts with the Township to book theatre
  • Manages annual licensing contracts and monthly license reporting
  • Coordinates other volunteers (from this list)
  • Selects movies

Graphic Designer
(~3-4 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Designs and prints posters and flyers
  • Designs and prints tickets

Web / Social Media Master
(~4-6 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Updates webpage
  • Updates Facebook Page
  • Manages online ticket sales

Advertiser / Promoter
(~8-10 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Manages preparation and delivery of flyers to local school
  • Manages poster distribution

Volunteer Coordinator
(~3-4 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Recruit and schedule volunteers (high school students)

Audio Visual Technician
(~10-12 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Manages all A/V equipment
  • Purchases/rents movies (Digital or Blu-ray/DVD))
  • Runs the show (“Presses play”)

Canteen Manager
(~10-12 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Trains canteen volunteers / manages canteen during the movie
  • Keeps inventory of canteen stock
  • Purchases new inventory as required
  • Gives funds and reports to treasurer after each movie

 

Bookkeeper / Treasurer
(~3-4 hours every 2 weeks)

  • Holds money
  • Prepares floats
  • Pays bills and reimburses expenses
  • Tracks income and expenses such as:
    • Ticket sales
    • Canteen
    • Licensing
    • Movies / Equipment
    • Rent
